CounSEL in collaboration with GIPS is proud to announce an 8-month introductory course for educators on “Increasing Social-Emotional Well-being in Schools”.
“Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions”
– CASEL (Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning)
The course will involve a variety of pedagogical strategies to create a hands-on learning experience for practicing and aspiring school counselors and educationists. This program will use different strategies like:
M.R.C. Psych., C.C.S.T. (U.K.);
Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) Specialist at GIPS
M.D (Psychiatry), D.P.M.; Managing Director, Psychiatrist, De-Addiction Specialist at GIPS
IIT-B, 2015; SEL Researcher; Director, CounSEL
